Christmas is celebrated once a year,
to some every day,
Christmas came into my life
one night and will forever stay.
The happiness I once remembered
had somehow no longer existed,
However, when Christmas came into my life that night
a promise was sealed with a kiss.
The innocent smile so cheerfully displayed
had faded throughout the years,
But Christmas came into my life one night
and replaced those smiles behind camouflaged tears.
Gifts brought forth for a treasured soul
were hidden imitations from the heart,
Because when Christmas came into my life that night
a true treasure was displayed from the start.
There's a thing called love we all should have,
there's a thing called love that we all should grab,
holding your love and keeping it near,
every time I think of you I wish you were here.
I show love for you- I love you so much
and though I feel no love from you,
deep inside I know you do,
you see my love so strong and true,
I know someday I'll be with you.
I wish and I dream of being with you,
in your arms all through the night.
